Rosalind Wiseman

Rosalind Wiseman is an author most famous for her 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence, on which a large part of the plot of the hit comedy film Mean Girls (2004) was based. She is cofounder of the Empower program, a not-for-profit organization that works to empower girls and boys to stop violence. She has taught as a high school teacher in Washington, D.C., and she has also been featured on CNN and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
