Ros Childs is a Business Journalist, employed by the ABC.
She hosts the Midday Report, a national and international weekday news bulletin with a special focus on Business news. She is of British birth, and prior to working for the ABC was an anchor on the ITV News Channel for the weekend midday news bulletin, and appeared on BBC World. She was also one of the launch presenter’s on the ITV 24-hour satellite news channel.
She’s also worked as a reporter at Sky News, and on Channel 4 business documentaries.
She now lives in Sydney with her Australian husband, television cameraman and Michelle Leslie adviser, Sean Mulcahy]][1].
She has served in other broadcasting positions at the ABC, having been a Finance Editor for the flagship 7.30 report]][2], as well as a fill-in presenter for Lateline. She resides in Sydney with her family. [3]
