This article needs a lot of work. Anyone willing to take it on? I've rewritten the first few paragraphs, but after that it starts getting into unreferenced information (like the incorrect heating mat wiring which was 'never revealed in the public inquiry' - but the article never states where it was revealed) and the language starts going downhill. 86.10.97.74 22:37, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Work on systematic demolition started in July 1986. Every single joint in the building was recorded. As the first panels were removed it was quickly discovered that the load bearing joints far from being full of concrete were in fact full of rubbish - cement bags, newspapers, cigarette ends, bottle tops and floor sweepings. This extended throughout the building and it was possible to date when the joint had been made from the date on the newspapers. After the partial collapse of the SE corner Ronan Point was rebuilt and reoccupied in 1971. What gave a great deal of cause for concern in 1986 was that the joints on the rebuilt corner also had joints stuffed with newspapers.

9/11 Conspiracy... here?!

The collapse of the World Trade Centre towers has been attributed to fire damage to its steel structure, caused by burning jet fuel. However, there is substantial evidence pointing to controlled demolition of WTC 1,2 and tellingly, WTC7, which had no jet fuel or jet crash into it.

I took the liberty of replacing that with a link to Collapse_of_the_World_Trade_Center - Maikmerten 13:06, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
