Ronny Heberson Furtado de Araújo

Ronny fullname Ronny Heberson Furtado de Araújo (born 11 May 1986) is a Brazilian football (soccer) defender.

He currently plays for Portuguese giant Sporting Clube de Portugal and Brazil U-20s team. He scored the fastest free-kick in the world when vs Naval 222 km/h.

Ronny was born in Fortaleza, Brazil where he developed into a key player for youth teams, and at the tender age of 9 many Brazilian clubs were already looking at the young talent.

Ronny began his career at Brazilian giants Corinthians playing for three seasons where he became established as a promising player. After his contract ended clubs such as Manchester City F.C., PSV Eindhoven, Paris Saint-Germain FC and Sporting fought for his signature, with the Leoes - or lions as Sporting fans know them - signed the young talent. He has managed to impress the Sporting Lisbon fans with great exibitons and has scored 1 goal for the lions during the pre-season.
