Ronan Chris Murphy

Ronan Chris Murphy (Born June 23, 1967 in Washington DC) is a record producer, mixer and multi instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. He is know for extremely diverse work as a producer and mixer around the globe, but is perhaps best know for his work with more avant artists like Terry Bozzio, Tony Levin, Steve Morse, Jay Terrien, Ulver and over a dozen records with King Crimson. His discography spans hundreds of records.

He got his start in the early 80’s DC punk scene in a band called Freak Baby which was also the first band of Dave Grohl although the two were not in the band at the same time.

In 2006 he founded Veneto West Records, a label focusing on progressive rock, hard jazz and ambient.
