Ronald J. Brachman

Ronald J. Brachman works at Yahoo! Previously, he worked at DARPA as a Program Director of the Cognitive Systems area. Before that, he worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories (Murray Hill, NJ) as the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Principles Research Department (2004).

Ron is the godfather of Description Logic, the logic-based knowledge representation formalism underlying the Web Ontology Language OWL.
