Ronald Salmon Crane (January 5, 1886 - July 12, 1967) was an American literary critic. He was one of the founding thinkers behind the Chicago School of literary criticism. His most significant work was The Languages of Criticism and the Structure of Poetry published by the University of Toronto Press in 1953.
