Ron "Boogiemonster" Gerber

Ron "Boogiemonster" Gerber (born 22 October 1968) is a disc jockey, pop music historian, and engineer.

Ron has an encyclopaedic knowledge of popular music, particularly that of the 1970s and 1980s. His long-running syndicated radio show, Crap From The Past originates from KFAI in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ron draws from his personal collection of over 10,000 CDs, 45s, and vinyl albums to produce the show.

Ron attended the University of Rochester and received a Ph.D. in optics from the University of Arizona. Twenty-two United States patents bear his name.
