Ron Wieck is the Iowa State Senator from the 27th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2002.

Wieck currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Ethics committee; the Labor and Business Relations committee; the Rules and Administration committee; the Ways and Means committee; the Commerce committee, where he is the ranking member, and the Government Oversight committee, where he is the ranking member.

Wieck was re-elected in 2006 with 13,459 votes, running unopposed. [1]
