Ron Shani

Ron Shani (born 22 August 1963 in Tel Aviv, Israel) is a nuclear scientist.

Shani served as a Nuclear Technology Specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the United Nations, between 1996 and June 2001. He was responsible for establishing the Integrated Nuclear Fuel Cycle Information Systems, an open-source information on nuclear fuel cycle facilities around the world. The system was published on the Internet starting 2001 and is available to all scientists around the world.
