Romorantin-Lanthenay is a commune of the Loir-et-Cher département, in France.

The current commune is the result of the merger, on May 29, 1961, of the former communes of Romorantin and Lanthenay.

Between 6 July and 22 July 2007 Sologne Aerodrome will be used for the Women's World Gliding Championships [1]
