Romantic Egoist

Romantic Egoist is a series of manga shorts drawn by Bisco Hatori. So far, there's a total of 4 chapters collected in some volumes of Ouran High School Host Club (1 per volume), which is another of Hatori's works. Each story revolves around a couple (a different pair per story) and their search for love. What links the stories together is the involvement of the Kuronuma (黒沼) sisters in each couple's quest.

Also, Romantic Egoist is the name of the first story; The other 3 are titled Love Egoist. It is mentioned in volume 4 that the name was changed because the editor felt it was too long.

[edit] Kuronuma sisters

• Nadeshiko (撫子) and Barako (薔薇子) - The twins who appear in every story so far (although their appearance in "Love Or Dream" could be considered to be a cameo). Eccentric and mysterious, the sisters were shunned by many of their classmates, who claimed that they have the blood of witches flowing in their veins. However, they make up for this with their passion to bring happiness to others. Interestingly, in the second story, their uncle was the target of their help.
• Sakurako (桜子) - The twins' elder sister. She's the Kuronuma involved in the 4th chapter, where she uses her fortune-telling skills to predict that the couple will never be together. Like her younger sisters, she's thought to be a witch as well.
