Romanian euro coins

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Romanian euro coins have not yet been designed. They will replace the current national currency of Romania, the Romanian leu, once Romania fulfills the convergence criteria. A certain element on the future coins is the coat of arms of the country, as required by law.[1] The euro will probably be adopted by Romania in 2014, but not before 2012, according to Romanian National Bank's governor, Mugur Isărescu.
