Roman Dissake Oben (born October 9, 1972) is an offensive tackle for the San Diego Chargers of the NFL. Previously he played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was born on October 9, 1972 in Cameroon. At the age of four he moved with his mother to the United States and they settled in Washington, DC. In high school Roman played for Gonzaga College High School. In college he played for the University of Louisville. He was a member of Tampa Bay's 2002 Super Bowl champion team.

Oben attended the University of Louisville, and was a four-year letterman in football and won one varsity letter in track&field as a freshman. In football, he was an All-National Independent first team selection as a junior. In track&field, he placed at the Metro Conference Championship on the shot put.
