Roman Kruglyakov (or Krougliakov), born 26 December 1971, is a Russian flatwater canoeist who has won six world championship titles. He is 1.83 m (6'0) tall and weighs 87 kg (192 lbs).
He had to wait until the age of 27 to be called up to the Russian national team, winning two golds at his first world championship in 1998. He has gone on to win a total of four world championship gold medals as a member of Russia's successful Canadian canoe (C-4) crew, most recently at Zagreb 2005.
He was also European C-4 200m champion in 2002. Unfortunately for Kruglyakov and his teammates no C-4 races are included in the Olympic schedule.
