Roman Catholicism in Slovakia

The Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.
Around 70% of the total population is Catholic. The country is divided into 6 dioceses including 2 archdioceses. There is also a separate jurisdiction for those of the Byzantine Rite.
