Roman Catholic diocese of Stockholm

The Roman Catholic diocese of Stockholm (Dioecesis Holmiensis), as of 2006 the only one in Sweden after the Protestant Reformation, was founded as an apostolic vicariate on 23 September 1783 and elevated to a diocese on 29 June 1953.
