The Roman Catholic Church in Papua New Guinea is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.
There are just under two million Roman Catholics in Papua New Guinea - around one third of the total population. The country is divided into nineteen dioceses including four archdioceses.
