The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas (Latin: Archidioecesis Kansanopolitana in Kansas) is a Roman Catholic archdiocese in Kansas. It was founded on August 9, 1952.

The past archbishops of the archdiocese are:

  • Edward Joseph Hunkeler (1952–1969)
  • Ignatius Jerome Strecker (1969–1993)
  • James Patrick Keleher (1993–2005)
  • Joseph Fred Naumann (2005—)

The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is part of a long line of diocese and vicariates covering the same area, namely:

  • Vicariate Apostolic of Indian Territory East of the Rocky Mountains (1850–1857)
  • Vicariate Apostolic of Kansas (1857–1877)
  • Diocese of Leavenworth (1877–1891)
  • Diocese of Kansas City, Kansas (1891–1897)
  • Diocese of Leavenworth (1897–1947)
  • Diocese of Kansas City in Kansas (1947–1952)
  • Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas (1952—)

All of the former diocese were under the authority of the Archdiocese of Saint Louis.
