Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 19:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry that you feel this way. I left a fairly lengthy response to Ganiman that I hope you'll consider reading. It's here: User talk:Ganiman. In short, I would like nothing more than for both of you to not take this deletion personally, and instead stay and contribute to other articles. Wikipedia policy and guidelines may be unusual, they may be constricting, but in the end articles that meet these standard end up being great articles. Again, I hope you'll change your mind and decide to stay. --AbsolutDan (talk) 21:35, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Recreation

You have recently created the article FFXIclopedia. This was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article: if you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a review at Wikipedia:Deletion review. . Note that the result of the AfD was to delete, not to redirect. Thanks. --AbsolutDan (talk) 21:48, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

You say "Man is AbsolutDan going to feel like an ass when FFXIclopedia starts getting recognition in the media" -- nope. You know why? Because right now it doesn't have that recognition, and Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. That means that if something doesn't meet inclusion criteria today, then it should be deleted today. If FFXIclopedia becomes a smashing success in the future, then it will meet inclusion criteria and can be revived then.
You guys are not happy about the FFXIclopedia article being deleted. Believe me, you've made your stance quite clear on that. Now you guys really need to pay attention to policy:
Please do not make personal attacks on other people. Wikipedia has a policy against personal attacks. In some cases, users who engage in personal attacks may be blocked from editing by administrators or banned by the arbitration committee. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please resolve disputes appropriately. Thank you. --AbsolutDan (talk) 22:10, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
