Also, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. It explains policy regarding adding links that promote your own books, music, or commercial and artistic endeavors. If you feel a link that promotes your products should be on an article page, then you should put a note on the article's talk page requesting another editor to add the link to your book, music, article, website.
