Wikipedia user Rollosmokes (or, more commonly Big Rollo Smokes) is also known as T.A. Pierce, a New York City resident who currently works as a civil-service employee.

However, his real interests lies within broadcasting. Before becoming a full-time civil worker, Rollo spent parts of six years (1996-2002) at WHCR-FM, a radio station located at the City College of New York. He was a morning show host, producer-at-large, and news reader and writer.

During college, he devoted countless hours to extensive research and study (for both academic and personal purposes) on the history of broadcasting in the United States, particularly television, specifically New York City. Rollo hopes to return to broadcasting in some capacity in the near future, if only to escape the mundane, dead-end nature of his current employment. His other hobbies include: riding the New York City subway system, listening to classic rhythm-and-blues and rap music, baseball, cooking, and writing (though, currently, his wife is a better writer than he).

Rollo/Mr. Pierce is looking forward to contrbuting some of his knowledge to Wikipedia, and is also looking to hearing your suggestions and criticisms. He's a big boy, and he can handle the truth.
