Roland Williams is a leading Creative Director living in Sweden.

Trained as an artist, he studied art under sculptor Claire Ratzenbock in Switzerland and watercolorist William C. Houston in the USA before showing his own work in galleries. After being published by Melanin Graphics in 1992, he was recruited by IBM Multimedia in Atlanta to illustrate storyboards for their interactive CD-ROM projects. Working with a team of programmers, writers, cel animators and musicians, he illustrated storyboards and designed multimedia graphics for IBM Multimedia’s CD-ROMs such as The Biosphere project, The Mescon Business Group, The Playboy Interviews 30th Anniversary, Curious George Learns the Alphabet and Peter & The Wolf narrated by actor Tony Randall.

In 1994 he began working for The Coca-Cola Company's Strategic Events department in Atlanta. There he developed concepts for television commercials, tradeshows, interactive videos, and business conferences. He was promoted to art director in 1996, and worked closely with the corporate communications staff to produce events for their executive officers. He led the production of Coca-Cola’s first Interactive Pin-trading multimedia kiosk for The 1996 Olympic Games. His talents as a creative leader and producer took him to many of the Company’s bottling operations where he produced Financial Analyst Tours in Indonesia, Austria, and Poland, as well as a key investor presentation for Coca-Cola Amatil in Australia.

He was invited to move to Stockholm by The Kreab Group in 1999 as a creative director for many of their events, creating scenography, design themes, corporate video themes, and collateral print material for many of Scandinavia’s leading companies.

He started his own experiential marketing consultancy, willdesign, in 2002.
