Rold Gold

Rold Gold is the name of a brand of pretzels, now owned by Frito-Lay. The original company started in 1917 and their pretzel snacks are advertised as "America's Number One Selling Pretzel."

Frito Lay purchased Rold Gold in 1999. While on-bag advertising states that Rold Gold is America's #1 Selling Pretzel, when measured by Total Dollar Sales in the United States, Rold Gold is currently the #2 pretzel brand behind Snyder's of Hanover.
