Dr. Roland Grossenbacher is a Swiss attorney at law currently serving as chairman of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation. He was appointed at this post in 2000. On the 104th meeting of the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation (13 to 15 December 2005), he was re-elected as Chairman of the Council. [1]

He is also the current Director of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
