[edit] Summary
In the novel Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker are dispatched to the mysterious planet of Zonama Sekot, which is the secret source of the fastest ships in the galaxy. Obi-Wan and Anakin are swept up in a swirl of deadly intrigue and betrayal, for others are interested in the secrets of Zonama Sekot as well. The search for these secrets will test the bond between Obi-Wan and Anakin as it has never been tested before. The result is an unforgettable journey stretching from the farthest reaches of known space to the battlefield of a young boy's heart, where a secret struggle is being waged that will decide the fate of the world. The introduction of the living world Zonama Sekot and the mysterious Vergere provided some of the first major links between the pre-Episode IV and post-Episode IV Star Wars Expanded Universe materials.
[edit] Goofs
- Obi-Wan refers to Darth Maul by his name. However, his name is never mentioned at all in Star Wars Episode I. (Darth Sidious did tell Nute Gunray the name of his apprentice, Darth Maul. However, it is unlikely Obi-Wan would have learned this without also becoming aware of the name Darth Sidious).
