[edit] Trivia

  • Release had been delayed until the end of August 2007, instead of the planned release of February 2, 2007. The similarly-themed Primeval did horribly at the box office, making only about 7 million its opening weekend, which caused Miramax bosses Bob & Harvey Weinstein to push back the release.
  • A teaser trailer for this film is expected to be released by March 8, 2007, with an official theatrical trailer to be released by April 4, 2007.
  • The release date is officially slated for April 20, 2007, and it will be released worldwide on that date, which was originally the release date of the similar-themed Primeval.

[edit] Rating/Running Time

According to some film web sites, Rogue has been rated R for extreme graphic violence and gore, intense terror, language, disturbing images, and thematic material by the MPAA (Motion Pictures Association of America).

The running time after the first draft was written, which was approximately 89 minutes, was extended and rewritten to 108 minutes, but scenes had to be cut to deem it a lighter R-rating, which led the final draft of the film to be approximately 105 minutes.

It was recently announced that the film is Rated: R For Language And Some Creature Violence
