Roger Ormand

Roger Ormand early North Carolinian statesman. Served on the Royal council of North Carolina, representing Bath, North Carolina. He was also a colonel in the army. He was one of the men who read of the firing on the minutemen in Boston, aloud in Bath. To the anger of its citizens. His brother was Wyriott Ormand, a major of the Beaufort Regiment, in the American Revolution.
