Roger Kain (born 1951) is a British singer and singing teacher.

Kain was born in London. In addition to being a performer himself he has been teaching singers and actors in vocal production for over twenty years. He has performed in operas, musicals, plays and a one-man-show which he wrote and directed.

He specialises in strengthening the voice and extending the range, hard rock singing in particular. He cites Ella Fitzgerald, George Michael, Sebastian Bach, Bono, Steven Tyler, Paul Robeson and Dame Joan Sutherland as some of the finest singers there are in terms of talent and technical ability.

He has authored three books on the topic of vocalisation, The Complete Vocal Workout: A Step By Step Guide to Tough Vocals ISBN 1-84492-003-8 Jul 2003, Basic Vocal Workout ISBN 1-8449-202-40 Feb 2004 and Xtreme Vocals ISBN 1-8449-2034-1 Mar 2004

Roger continues to teach from his own home in London, his passion for preparing singers to be the best they can remains as fierce as ever. He plans to write another book on famous singers and their various techniques, some of the aforementioned artists will no doubt feature as examples.
