Roger Duvoisin

Roger Duvoisin (1904-1980) was a Swiss-American author and illustrator. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, his first job was as making textiles. He moved to New York City in 1927 where he wrote his first book. He received a Caldecott Medal for White Snow, Bright Snow by Alvin Tresselt. He is now known mostly for his Veronica and Happy Lion series. He married author Louise Fatio. He also won a Caldecott Honor Award for Hide and Seek Fog in 1966.
