Roeland vzw

Roeland Vzw is a non-profitable organisation based in Gent, Belgium, that promotes language skills for children and young people (mostly living in Belgium). The organisation was founded in 1952. Nowadays It runs Summer courses in the UK and France, with the added difference of being a language "immersion" in the county's respective language for Belgian pupils wishing to improve their English, in a more fun, relaxed environment than the just the classroom or workplace. Almost all of the employed team are Belgians, however the "volunteers" who work on the Summer camps are from all backgrounds, the one thing they have in common, that they speak the target language. It also runs various other language and theatrical events throughout the year. The head of the organisation is Jacque Eichperger
