Welcome!

Hello RodVance, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

I undid your changes at spectral measure because according to the math style manual one should attempt to avoid using formulas which become pictures if embedded in text. One some screens formulas show of different size than text, and that looks kind of ugly (of course, html formulas have their own issues, but that seems to be the better solution).

By the way, since you are new, a good habit to cultivate is putting an edit summary. It helps people watching a given article understand what you are up to (think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email). Welcome again, hope you like it here. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 00:49, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia needs you

Hi, RodVance. You have helped with a number of articles in the past, but you haven't edited any articles in a while. Could you make some new contributions soon to help make Wikipedia better?

I hope you decide to become a more active contributor again. Feel free to drop me a line on my talk page. -- ForteTuba 04:42, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
