Rodrigo Muñoz López (b. December 14, 1975, in Tlalnepantla, Mexico) is a major league starting pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. Lopez joined the Orioles in 2002 where he became a pitcher going 15-9 in the process and was runner up for AL Rookie of the Year [1]. 2003 was a disappointment for Rodrigo, as he went 7-10 in an injury-marred campaign. In 2004, he was moved to middle relief but pitched his way into the starting rotation. That year, his record would be a respectable 14-9. In 2005, he went 15-12. On January 12, 2007, Lopez was traded to the Colorado Rockies in exhange for pitchers Jim Miller and Jason Burch [2].
