Rodney White

Rodney Charles White (born June 28, 1980 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he was named National Freshman of the Year by ESPN, and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 9th overall pick of the 2001 NBA Draft. In four seasons for the Pistons, the Denver Nuggets, and the Golden State Warriors, he has averaged 7.1 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He was waived by the Warriors on June 30, 2005. He played for Lagun Aro Bilbao in the Spanish ACB. He was waived by the Lagun Aro Bilbao on November 1, 2006. Currently, he plays for Scavolini-gruppo Spar Pesaro in Italy.
