Roderick McMahon

Roderick James "Jess" McMahon (b. May 26, 1882, Queens, New York - d. November 22, 1954) was a professional wrestling and professional boxing promoter. He is the patriarch of the McMahon wrestling family. He is also the one who co-promoted the significant World Heavyweight Boxing Championship match between Jess Willard and then champion Jack Johnson in a 45-round fight.
He started promoting wrestling shows in 1935. His son Vincent James McMahon took over the family business, starting the World Wide Wrestling Federation upon Jess McMahon's death at age 72 on November 22, 1954.
His grandson Vincent Kennedy McMahon currently runs WWE. Jess's great-grandchildren Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon also work for the company. He also has great-great grandchildren with Shane and Stephanie both having children of their own.Shane and his wife Marissa have two sons, Declan, and Kennedy, and Stephanie and her husband Paul Levesque have a daughter, Aurora Rose.
