[edit] History
The Rodeo Cheeseburger was created to coincide with the release of the film Small Soldiers in 1998. It was advertised using a parody of the Tom Cruise movie A Few Good Men. In the commercial, the puppet, Chip Hazard, quoted Jack Nicholson's line "you can't handle the truth" as "you can't handle the Rodeo."
Although discontinued nationally, the Rodeo Cheeseburger can still be found regionally in some parts of the US as part of Burger King's revamped Value Menu and in parts of Europe and South America.
[edit] The Competition
There are no complementary sandwiches sold by the other major QSR restaurants, McDonald's and Wendy's.
