Rodas

Rodas is a town and municipality in the Cienfuegos Province of Cuba.

The municipality covers 606 km² and includes the communities of Ariza, Cabecera, Cartagena, Ciego Montero, Congojas, Jabacoa, Limones, Medidas, Santiago, Soledad and Turquino.

The town was founded in 1859 under the name of Lechuzo. In 1879 it was renamed Rodas in honour of capitán general Caballero de Rodas.
