[edit] Flute Quartet Article
Please leave any information about the flute quartet article for me here. Thanks! Rocket71048576 18:19, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
Yo. Um, to be honest, I've never played in a flute quartet and I wasn't sure that such a thing was necessary until I popped it into google and saw a couple of groups. I would assume that there are only a few pieces or so that were actually written specifically for a flute quartet as opposed to a string quartets or even violin quartets. There are, however, plenty of pieces out there thought that have been arranged for four flutes to play together. I can imagine though that these might sound pretty shrill without much of a bass register, unless you wrote for an actual bass flute - although they are kinda unweildy and large. Sorry I can't be much more help. I suppose you could mention a few of the groups that advertise themselves on the internet; but it would make the article sound a bit like an advert and who's to say that those groups are worthy of inclusion on wikipedia? They might be, they might not be... --Luccent 14:46, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I saw one once. It was nice.
And there is my awesome contribution :] LonelyPker 05:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sig timestamp
{{helpme}} I've created a new sig at [[1]] and would like to know how to add a timestamp to it. Thanks, Rocket71048576 10:53, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- You don't need to add a timestamp there. Go to preferences, check on the raw signature tab, and put {{subst:User:Rocket71048576/Sig}} as the text and voila! When you use the four tildes the timestamp will appear automatically (remember ~~~~). Feel free to use the {{helpme}} template again, in case you need help! Cheers! — Nearly Headless Nick 11:08, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mildred Robbins Leet
The article makes several assertions to notability, so lets give the article a bit of time to gain those references. - CobaltBlueTony 18:07, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I realised that when I'd read it properly, so I took the db-bio tag off. Rocket71048576∞Talk 07:24, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for the welcome... I may very well be interested in the Blackadder Project... could you tell me a little more about it when you get a chance?
Thank You.

[edit] The Jesus Freak Hideout Article
Look, I have had to deal with the speedy deletion stuff before, and no offense, but I think the site could be more helpful in this matter. I made the article, but I was no where done explaining what the site really is before the speedy deletion notice came it. It is a very popular Christian rock site that provides some of the best news on the genre on the internet. Would that help? I'm just tired of seeing it's name all over Wikipedia with a red link because there is no page for it. Sorry if I seem rude, but I really didn't get the chance to explain it better.RoryS89 16:29, 27 January 2007 (UTC)RoryS89
- I have started an article for it that will be well-sourced and will demonstrate its notability. It is currently in my sandbox. WikiProject CCM member Royalbroil T : C 14:21, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Could I ask you to reduce the length of your signature, it's a bit too long. →AzaToth 14:59, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- Rather better, but you can reduce it some character more, like this: Rocket71048576∞Talk, thou I would suggest reducing the number of colors even more, max two or three. →AzaToth 15:50, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] rosanna jönis
why did you put a tag on rosanna jönis? and i want a really good explanation, do you knwo who she is? Are you from sweden?/matrix17
No, I'm not from Sweden but I put a tag on the article because I didn't think it was notable enough. If you have a problem with this, you might be better off adding the hangon tag to the top of her page. Rocket71048576∞Talk 15:19, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
ok your powerhungry person continue do that/matrix17

[edit] Location Maps
On the WikiProject Countries talk page, you had either explictly declared a general interest in the project, or had participated at a discussion that appears related to Location Maps for European countries.
New maps had been created by David Liuzzo, and are available for the countries of the European continent, and for countries of the European Union exist in two versions. From November 16, 2006 till January 31, 2007, a poll had tried to find a consensus for usage of 'old' or of which and where 'new' version maps. At its closing, 25 people had spoken in favor of either of the two presented usages of new versions but neither version had reached a consensus (12 and 13), and 18 had preferred old maps.
As this outcome cannot justify reverting of new maps that had become used for some countries, seconds before February 5, 2007 a survey started that will be closed at February 20, 2007 23:59:59. It should establish whether the new style maps may be applied as soon as some might become available for countries outside the European continent (or such to depend on future discussions), and also which new version should be applied for which countries.
Please note that since January 1, 2007 all new maps became updated by David Liuzzo (including a world locator, enlarged cut-out for small countries) and as of February 4, 2007 the restricted licence that had jeopardized their availability on Wikimedia Commons, became more free. The subsections on the talk page that had shown David Liuzzo's original maps, now show his most recent design.
Please read the discussion (also in other sections α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ, η, θ) and in particular the arguments offered by the forementioned poll, while realizing some comments to have been made prior to updating the maps, and all prior to modifying the licences, before carefully reading the presentation of the currently open survey. You are invited to only then finally make up your mind and vote for only one option.
There mustnot be 'oppose' votes; if none of the options would be appreciated, you could vote for the option you might with some effort find least difficult to live with - rather like elections only allowing to vote for one of several candidates. Obviously, you are most welcome to leave a brief argumentation with your vote. Kind regards. — SomeHuman 7 Feb 2007 20:34 (UTC)

[edit] Edits to haplotype and vandalism
Thanks for your work reverting vandals, but I'm wondering if the case with haplotype is more complicated than meets the eye. One of the edits appears to be contributing information, albeit content that existed elsewhere in wikipedia. You can see my comment at User_talk:128.231.88.4#Possibly_not_vandalism.
