Raquel Diaz (born November 17, 1983 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras) is an American TV personality of Chilean and Honduran descent. Rocsi grew up in New Orleans. After graduating from Nicholls State University, she deejayed her way into the Texas and Boston radio markets, before making her home at Chicago’s Power 92 WPWX-FM in 2004.

Rocsi beat out more than 5,000 other competitors when she auditioned for BET’s New Faces Search. She is currently the female co-host on 106 & Park.

In 2005, when Hurricane Katrina struck her hometown of New Orleans, she and fellow New Orleans native Master P started a fundraiser to help the citizens of New Orleans.

Born in Honduras, she settled in New Orleans. She was surrounded by music but hip hop was her favorite. “Hip-hop is in my blood, it’s programmed into my DNA,” says Rocsi. She graduated from Nicholls State University, she then got jobs as a DJ in Texas, and Boston radio stations before calling Chicago's Power 92 FM as her "home". She enjoys salsa with her girls, hangin' with her boys at the 40-yard line, and boxing.^[1]

Rocsi has always had a philanthropic spirit, and this characteristic kicked in after Hurricane Katrina destroyed her hometown. After the devastation, Rocsi and some of her closest friends decided to throw a benefit appropriately named “Jambalaya.” Proceeds from “Jambalaya” went to help rebuild Rocsi’s alma mater, West Jefferson High School. When describing why she needed to help out in this way, Rocsi affectionately states, “My first everything was in New Orleans...my first dance, my first kiss and so I figured why not have my own little New Orleans bash as a way to give back to my hometown.Plus she's super hot”^[2]
