Rocksource is a small technology based E&P oil company listed at the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: RGT). The company was established as a partnership between Norwegian entrepreneurs, oil industry professionals and academics (from Bergen University). The company is developing a new potentially groundbreaking EM-analysis technology. The technology has a goal of increasing the rate of success in exploration wells by analyzing EM-data to reduce the risk of drilling a dry hole, or to optimize the drilling process in mature fields.
Rocksource is currently building up a portfolio of diversified oil field projects around the world. These fields are primarily put on-line to build a solid cash flow for the company, but are also going to be used as a testbed for the new EM-technology.
