It debuted on CBS on July 11, 2005, to mediocre ratings, during the summer lineup. The show is hosted by television personality and commercial spokeswoman, Brooke Burke and Jane's Addiction lead guitarist, Dave Navarro. In the show, aspiring singers participate in a singing competition to win a chance to become the lead vocalist of a rock band. In season one, the band, Australian rock legends INXS, chose J.D. Fortune as their new lead singer. For season two, the band, Supernova, chose Lukas Rossi as the lead singer of their new supergroup. Both winners are from Canada. In the final episode, auditions were announced for season three, although CBS has yet to renew the show for a third season.
