Rock Hill (point)

Rock Hill (not to be confused with the town of Rock Hill, Florida) is the sixth highest point in Florida. This hill is located in Walton County, Florida, as is Britton Hill, the highest point in Florida. Rock Hill is 193 feet high that is just off the coast of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This hill is also just outside of the Eglin Air Force Base. This hill is 5 miles north of Freeport, Florida; and is 7 miles south of De Funiak Springs, Florida.

Rock Hill is near where U.S. Highway 331 and State Road 20 intersect. Its exact location is 30°36'2"N 86°6'22"W.

Rock Hill is in one of the only Piedmont areas of Florida. At 193 feet above sea level, Rock Hill's only real claim to height is in relation to the surrounding terrain, which is quite low indeed.

Rock Hill is located in Walton County, Florida, which also encompasses the highest point in Florida: Britton Hill.

Rock Hill is by US Road 331, 5 miles north of Freeport, Florida, and 8 miles south of De Funiak Springs, Florida.
