Rocinante (band)

Rocinante is a musical group based in Cassis, France that has an eclectic style, blending elements from the traditional French chanson, American jazz, alt-country, rock music and pop music. They have performed live in Europe, Canada and Australia.

Their debut album, Another Harmless Sound, was released on Rocinante's own label, Lune Records in 2003. Although the group received little radio play, Rocinante developed a large following by word of mouth and the exchange of live recordings. This helped the band sell over 650,000 copies of their first record worldwide. The band has since performed at the Cannes Film Festival, earning them a greater world audience.
