Roccamonfina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 km northwest of Naples and about 40 km northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,727 and an area of 31.0 km2.[1]
Roccamonfina borders the following municipalities: Caianello, Conca della Campania, Galluccio, Marzano Appio, Sessa Aurunca, Teano.
In the communal territory is the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina. The fossil human footprints called Ciampate del Diavolo have been found there.
