[edit] Henry Miller Shreve
Thanks for the additions and source citations. Can you recommend a good biography of Shreve? — BrianSmithson 22:34, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, Robert. Me again. Thanks again for your work on the Henry Miller Shreve article. The page currently includes a note that the article does not cite its references or sources, but you have been adding several of these. If you feel the article is adequately referenced from the sources you have cited, please feel free to remove the notice from the top. Thanks again. — BrianSmithson 22:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Alfred Hunt 2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Alfred Hunt 2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alfred Hunt image
Carnildo,
I thought that I had provided the source and copyright information on the image Alfred Hunt 2.jpg.
Since Alfred Hunt is a relative I have inherited this photograph. It is my personal property. I have no knowledge that this photograph has ever been published or granted a copyright.
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated. Kindly keep me informed.
Robert M. Hunt 13:54, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- In that case, probably the best thing to do is make a note of that fact on the image description page and add the {{PD-self}} tag. --Carnildo 02:32, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bone repair article
Hello there, Robert. Thanks for adding information to the Bone repair article, it's nice to see someone of your stature adding information to the wikipedia. I've updated the article slightly, in that it's layout has been tidied up, and added into headers so that if there's other information along those lines, you can add it easily, without having to re-arrange the article.
The references are quite easy to add , just make sure to add them after lines which you've referenced from a book. I already added the bone repair book you had referenced before, and given it the name "ham bonerepair", so if you want to reference it, just use; "<ref name="ham_bonerepair"></ref>" and it'll automatically appear at the bottom of the page.
Many thanks, James. James S 23:10, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Robert. Excellent submissions to this article; thanks for contributing. However, for the purposes of verifiability, could you include a short summary for the notes you have created? It would be much easier for people wanting to verify the information to identify which parts of the text you've used for referencing the article.
- For example:
- ↑ Author(xxxx) - In chapter title, author refers to x as being a key factor in the formation of granular tissue. Etc, etc.

[edit] Robert Hunt (chaplain)
Mr. Hunt,
Thanks for your note re: Robert Hunt, chaplain at Jamestown. I am satisfied that the Sussex Archaeological records are correct on this matter, at least as viewed by the then-Archbishop of Canterbury (Richard Bancroft) and Hakluyt. Of all the sources over the years that've speculated on this, this is the most credible. I have indeed read Woolley's book, and am co-editor of the new edition of "Virginia's True Founder".
Per your suggestion, I've separated the references and added the names of Hunt's wife & children.--Blackehart 20:17, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
