Redundant article?See Robot control and Talk:Robot control--Sahodaran 11:44, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree. Also redundant in view of the updated version of Robot that I am still working on, and kinematics. I propose adding a little bit of info to Robot control to ensure this phrase is covered and then redirecting to there. 16:31, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

- What about Robot locomotion? Is it necessary to merge, or are their differences important to hair-splitting robotisists? - Jak (talk) 16:45, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

- I think it's necessary to make the difference between control, dynamics and kinematics very clear. Without the knowledge of the kinematic and dynamic structure of the robot it's almost impossible to control it. I think the Robot control page also needs an update since for example the denavit hartenberg convention has not much to do with control theory. RobotNick 15 december 2006

I'm thinking about the best way to divide this article in sections. Maybe it's better to make the forward kinematics and inverse kinematics etc the title of the sections and divide these for the different robot types instead of the way it's organised now? RobotNick 15 december 2006
