Folks, I hate spam and my original draft was even more one sided - but I think that the neutral point of view puts spammers up there with outright criminals, so I think it is fair to say that it is socially unacceptable - I found a source for that viewpoint and cited it.

Any comments?

It's pretty good considering I'd never heard of the term previously and now have a good idea. Only problem is that using the second person is somewhat jarring and informal. I will tag it as such, since I'm a little wary of breaking the flow right now. 68.39.174.238 19:20, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
