Talk:Robert Pollard
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article makes some pretty outlandish claims about an artist i've never heard of- i'm not sure he's one of the greatest songwriters in history
- Well, it's your own fault for not hearing of him because he is certainly legendary as far as indie rockers go, but you're right that we needn't claim things like "greatest", even if we make it factual by saying "considered by many." I therefore removed the hyperbole. — brighterorange (talk) 00:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
That's retarded. I don't think it's outlandish at all to say that he's considered to be among the greatest songwriters going right now, and/or of all-time. I mean a lot of people haven't heard of him, and a lot of people don't like him, but as far as pure songwriters go, he's more than just "prolific", which is a lame way of describing what he does. But hey, wikipedia is wikipedia. Always trying to be "objective" about everything.66.80.144.5 21:00, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Extended Discography
I'm planning on eventually incorporating the entire side project/collaborative/pseudonymous discography here. It's a work in progress. As of this posting I've thrown up the first couple and will flesh it out over time. Anyone else who wants to contribute is welcome to do so. Anazgnos 03:15, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
