[edit] Middle name

According to IMDb and numerous fansites, his middle name is Thomas. Are these sources not reputable enough? Starcross 02:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Fan sites? - definitely not: they are not authoritative, nor traceable as a reference, and contain mountains of rumours and gossip. The IMDb? - perhaps! Got a link to it as reference to provide proof? Better yet, how about if his middle is mentioned and affirmed at his official web site? If so then probably yes; and you may re-post his middle name in the article, after providing a link to an official web page somewhere here, as an authoritative reference, so other editors can check your claims. Thanks! --T-dot 03:35, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for the help! Here's the link to the IMDb reference, which gives his birth name as "Robert Thomas Pattinson." I don't think he has an official website though. Starcross 19:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
No, i don't belive they are reliable enough. The IMDb is user-updated (much like Wikipedia), so whoever added that info to IMDb, probably read it on a fansite. This article mentions that he was credited as a model as Robert Thomas-Pattinson (for which a scan is provided). i think that's good enough for now. Amo 02:51, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
So which are they: reliable or not? Starcross 21:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, this discussion is so old i'm not sure exactly what you mean. But i feel that the scan is n appropriate source to show that he has been credited as Robert Thomas-Pattinson, so it's linked. It's kind of important to include ppl's aliases. Amo 12:38, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
I mean that is the IMDb a reliable source or not? :) Starcross 13:52, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Not really, especially not for stuff like this, which obviously hasn't been added by an agent or production company, or been taken from the credits in a film. Amo 10:31, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Coterie

Is this really true? it seems kind of unlikeley to me... Does anyone have an online source? Amo 18:25, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Harry Potter?

How can Robert be in The Order of the Phoenix when his character is dead? He also is not credited in IMDb as acting in the movie. Could someone look into this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.206.223.34 (talk) 02:01, 1 February 2007 (UTC).

He might be in a flashback.

Yes, the article already notes that it's a "Flashback sequence only (archive footage)". Amo 02:49, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
