Never heard of the guy. Searched him on google and found nothing other than HIS OWN PROMOTIONAL website. Mr Pepper (who?) has obviously written this article himself or got his secretary or PA to do it for him. This article is nothing but advertising. [1] Jimmi399 08:37, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

You may be right; Although I'm sure he's a talented artist, the article may not pass notability. If someone else doesn't AfD it soon then I will. --J2thawiki 11:03, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
I wrote the page and I'm not Mr Pepper nor his PA. I have followed his career for about two years and I know his work well. I am a art critic writer and I thought his work has gained the respect and notability to write about it. I don't think google is the sole source of someone's notability. I cleaned the article up and shortened it. This is my first wiki article and any suggestions are welcome.

Google isn't used to establish notability; generally what is required is for the subject to have been the subject of multiple third-party articles. See WP:BIO for more details. Normally, if a person has been written about by others then these articles will show up in google. I think you may have been a bit extreme in shortening the article to what it is currently; what is needed most are some references to sources that establish the subject's notability. --J2thawiki 11:04, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for the tips. I'll start adding in references to articles to build the page up a little more. Thanks. --Mattgierhart
